Edgar started drawing at an early age, coloringbooks were his first color explorations. After earning a degree in graphic design, he then graduated with a BFA on fine arts from Otis College of Art and Design.
He is now an acomplished tattoo artist in Los Angeles area with over 25 years of experience. Today he explores plein air painting while developing studio work derived from his observation of places.
Edgar currently lives in Los Angeles CA and travels continuously painting on locations that inspire him.
What drives Edgar’s motivation to paint is the feeling to capture a moment in life, a sense of being present in time and space. He whishes the viewer too would experience a similar feeling through his paintings. The enjoyment of life and finding beauty all around is Edgar’s artistic goal.
